Celtic slip further into the mire
Farsley Celtic took another teetering step towards the Blue Square Premier relegation places after wasting a host of chances to beat Ebbsfleet.
Celtic had led until the equaliser early in the second half, but Andy Watson was played through on goal twice only to be denied by Ebbsfleet keeper Lance Cronin.
Celtic boss John Deacey admits that the wasted opportunities might cost his side dearly as they hover precariously above the drop-zone.
"Andy Watson missed two golden opportunities to put us back in front," Deacey told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
"The boys worked very hard but we have to take out the sloppy mistakes. I can't dwell on the missed chances, I thought the performance and the work rate was fantastic but the injuries are absolutely killing us."
Concentrate
He added: "We lost another centre half after a short period of the game but we had a 1-0 lead at half time but we just can't concentrate in certain situations. All respect to Ebbsfleet, they've taken their chances and come away with a result."
Deacey has not given up yet and has faith that his side will do enough in their final three matches to avoid the dreaded drop.
"We've got three games left. One is at home and the other we only have to travel 15 miles down the road so it's all to fight for."
