Hutchinson: We were worth a draw
Weymouth manager Ian Hutchinson beleives his side didn't deserve to lose to Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City in the their FA Trophy First Round tie at the weekend.
The Terras played host to the Whites at Wessex Stadium but thier lack of cutting edge ultimately cost them a place in the next round of the competition.
Hutchinson told the Dorset Echo: "We are absolutely gutted. We took a Conference Premier side all the way and they just nicked it at the death.
"I said to them before the game that against better opposition you have to put your chances away if you get them and we've had two clear-cut chances that we haven't managed to put away and we have been punished for it.
"It's heartbreaking for the boys but it gives us hope because we have taken a Blue Square Premier side all the way and if we work as hard we did on Saturday it gives us half a chance of staying in the Blue Square South."
"A draw would have been the fair result. They might think differently but with the effort and endeavour we put in we certainly deserved something out of the game.
"But it's a cruel game and we got punished at the end."
