Farsley Celtic 1-2 Droylsden
Droylsden won away from home for the first time this year but it is likely to be too little too late as relegation from the Blue Square Premier still seems a certainty.
They trail Weymouth, currently in 20th spot, by a mammoth 15 points while sporting a vastly inferior goal difference.
With five games left to play they trail 20th-placed Weymouth by 15 points and have a vastly worse goal difference.
The visitors went ahead through a Kevin Lynch header from a 12th-minute corner as the teams got stuck into each other in a scrappy first half.
But their lead proved to be shortlived as Damien Reeves took a mere four-minutes to give the home side parity when he finished crisply into the bottom corner.
The rest of the game was a tight affair with neither side creating a glut of chances but the visitors took advantage of a rare opening in the 86th minute when Terry Fearns headed the winner.
Although staying in the Blue Square Premier is still a mathematical possibility, Droylsden fans will be readying themselves for the drop.
