Fleetwood on verge of league switch
Striker Stuart Fleetwood could have played his last season for Forest Green Rovers after it emerged that Charlton and Crewe are reportedly chasing his signature.
The Welshman has been n scintillating form this season, bagging 32 goals to end the campaign as the leading scorer in the Blue Square Premier.
Fleetwood turned down a move to £200,000 move to Crewe in January but his Forest Green contract is about to expire and he doesn't look likely to pen a new deal.
The 22-year-old has won several caps for the Wales under-21 side and received a call-up to the Wales semi-professional under-23 squad in October last year.
He started his career as a trainee at Cardiff City and made his debut at the age of 17, in a match against Leyton Orient in August 2003.
The striker then signed for Hereford United and had a short loan spell at Accrington Stanley before making a switch to Forest Green Rovers in June 2007.
