Harvey committed to Forest Green
Forest Green Rovers manager Jim Harvey has moved to reassure fans over his future at the club after steering his charges to a record high league finish.
This comes after Harvey was linked as a possible candidate for Peter Taylor's job at fellow Blue Square Premier side Stevenage Borough.
Stevenage missed out on the play-offs after a promising start to the season and it is believed that Taylor will hand in his resignation sometime this week.
However, Harvey has revealed that he's focused on the job at hand and has already begun making preparations for next season's campaign.
"We've started something off here and it's promising, and I just hope we can keep the majority of the boys together and improve on it," Harvey told The Forrester.
"In my first year we were 14th, and this year we've improved up to eighth, so we've still got a wee bit of ground to make up and hopefully we can do it.
"We'll go away, have a rest and come back stronger and wiser next year.
"The boys can certainly be really proud of their efforts - to get the club's highest ever finish in 10 years in the Conference is no mean feat."
