Ademeno remains a Red

Crawley Town have revealed that Charlie Ademeno will remain with the Blue Square Premier side.

Ademeno was on the verge of a move to an unnamed club and had a deal in place at 3pm on deadline day but the club ran out of time to se his paperwork lodged with the FA and Football League before the 5pm deadline.

The Reds have also had enquiries for the player with Swindon Town, Southampton and MK Dons with boss Steve Evans admitting it will be hard to hold on to Ademeno indefinitely.

He told the club's official website: "There is no doubt if Charlie continues to play as he has done recently another door will open for him in due course."
