Steve Burr
Crawley 2-2 Kidderminster
Steve Burr's Kidderminster Harriers twice rallied from behind to earn a share of the spoils with Crawley Town at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday.
This was Burr's first game in charge of the Harriers following his appointment in midweek and he would have been buoyed his new side's battling showing.
Harriers goalkeeper Dean Coleman was at fault for the opener as he missed a back header by Gavin Caines in the 13th minute, allowing striker Charles Ademeno to tap into an unguarded net.
The scores remained unchanged for the remainder of the half but the Harriers drew level five minutes after the break when John Finnigan latched onto a pass from Duane Courtney before firing a low, powerful drive into the bottom left corner.
The Harriers had a good chance to claim the lead in the 57th minute but Damian Spencer saw his goalbound effort blocked by Eddie Hutchinson.
And at the other end, Coleman did well to deny Thomas Pinault's long-range effort with a diving save five minutes later.
However, the 'keeper was caught out again moments later as he fumbled a shot from Ademeno and Barry Cogan was on hand to fire home from close range.
Kidderminster didn't give up the chase and drew level in the 86th minute when Chris McPhee fired a shot from outside the box which flew through a crowded area and past a stunned Simon Rayner.
