Weymouth 3-1 ExeterWeymouth further enhanced their chances of survival with a a hard-fought win over 10-man Exeter City at Wessex Stadium on Easter Monday.
The Terras broke the deadlock after 35 minutes when Chris Blackburn raced onto a Simon Weatherstone cross and placed his left-footed shot in the bottom-left corner.
The visitors drew level on the hour mark thanks to a drilled effort by Matthew Taylor from left-hand side of the penalty area.
However, his good work was undone just two minutes later as Exeter's Steve Tully received his marching orders for a professional foul on Michael Malcolm in the penalty area.
Simon Weatherstone stepped up to take the resulting spot kick and made no mistake to restore his side's slender advantage.
The Grecians found their chances dwindling as the home side's numerical advantage started to take it's toll.
Weymouth made sure of the result with minutes remaining on the clock thanks to Michael Malcolm's drilled shot from 20 yards out.
