Harriers wait on FA response
Blue Square Premier club Kidderminster Harriers are still waiting on their share of the money from last year's FA Carlsberg Trophy Final.
The money has been sitting in a high interest account for almost a year after disagreements over the cost of hospitality ahead of last year's Trophy final.
Harriers chairman Barry Norgrove has sent the FA a cheque to cover the costs of his side's hospitality and is now waiting on a reply for the governing organisation.
"We have done what the FA have asked and now we consider the matter closed until we hear back from them," Norgrove told the Kidderminster Shuttle.
"This was not a small amount of money, so we felt we had to argue our case. If it had been a few pounds we wouldn't have bothered."
Both Kidderminster and Stevenage disagreed with the FA's quoted fee for accommodation and the Blue Square Premier duo hope to finally put the matter to rest.
