Iyseden Christie Christie in Harriers contract talksKidderminster Harriers striker Iyseden Christie has revealed that he's currently locked in contract talks and is holding out for a two-year deal.
Christie's current contract runs out at the end of the campaign and he is hoping to secure his long-term future.
The 31-year-old frontman has found the net 18 times this season and feels that his request for a two-year deal would be just rewards for his fine form.
However, he is still locked in talks with Aggborough officials and manager Mark Yates is yet decide on the futures of a number of squad members.
"Ideally I'd like a two-year contract or at least a clause that says if I play so many games then the next season is guaranteed, but that's a sticking point at the moment," Christie told the Kidderminster Shuttle.
"I don't feel it's too much to ask to be offered a two-year contract.
"I wouldn't want to leave just because of the length of contract but at the end of the day I have to look after myself and my family."
