Julian Dicks
Chester v Grays Athletic
Grays Athletic mentor Julian Dicks has called for his new signings to step up when his charges face bottom-placed Chester on Saturday.
The Blues are currently second-from-bottom after losses to Oxford and Kidderminster and Dicks feels it is now time for his charges to step up.
He told the Thurrock Gazette: "Fans want to see see us playing in a more positive way and I think that despite the scoreline we can take some positives from what happened on Tuesday night.
"I was pleased with what our right back Jack Hunt did and Harry Baker and Jordan Wilson also played well. We seemed to be a lot better at getting forward.
"It's our mistakes which are holding us back at present."
"Chester are at the bottom for the wrong reasons and we'll have to be work hard to get something from this."
Dicks has no injury concerns ahead of the tie with hitman Wayne Gray (hamstring) expected to return.
Chester are also injury-free but will be without captain Tim Ryan, who is still suspended.
