Foyle plays down York pressure talk
York City manager Martin Foyle has insisted he will keep his side's feet firmly on the ground despite another victory continuing their march up the table.
Foyle's men secured a 1-0 victory at play-off chasers Kettering on Saturday and are now just a point behind Blue Square Premier leaders Oxford.
Michael Rankine's 16th-minute goal was enough for the Minstermen, who still have every chance of winning promotion as champions after racking up 31 points out of the last possible 33.
But Foyle is not getting carried away, telling the York Evening Press: "There will be no pressure on the players from me."
Despite his claims, the pressure from the fans will be high as they start to dream about a possible automatic promotion to the Football League.
