Martin Foyle
Cambridge United v York
York City have the chance to close the gap at the top of the Blue Square Premier table when they travel to Cambridge United on Saturday afternoon.
The Minstermen are currently five points off league leaders Stevenage Borough in third position.
City manager Martin Foyle is keen to see a massive improvement in the club's away form, especially if they are serious about their title credentials.
Foyle told The Press: "There's a massive difference between our home and away form. I can see that in our make-up and the way we play.
"We've got to be mentally and physically stronger all around the pitch."
Richard Brodie and Chris Carruthers are both rated as doubtful for the visitors, while Alex Lawless also requires a late fitness test.
Better news for Foyle is that David McGurk and Levi Mackin are both expected to return for what could be a massive fixture in the Minstermen's season.
Cambridge United will also view this clash as a must-win as they are currently languishing in 14th position.
The U's fans have voiced their discontent of late as their club is seldom found in such a lowly position.
Boss Martin Ling will be looking for a positive result from his charges and has asked the fans for a proper chance to do what he does best.
Ling told Cambridge News: "There's going to be frustrations in the ground on a Saturday if we're sitting in 14th in the Conference.
"It's the trade we're in, the environment we're in, it's the job we do. If you don't have thick skin you shouldn't do it.
"All I'm asking for is time to be judged."
Wayne Hatswell will say goodbye to the club's fans as this is his last match before taking up a player/coach role at Dundalk.
Courtney Pitt will not feature as he is on the way out of the club, with a transfer set to go through within the next seven days.
Mark Beesley and Aiden Palmer both have knocks and may not feature, while Lee Phillips is not match fit and the best he can hope for is a place on the bench.
