Walker: We need positive finish
York City boss Colin Walker is eager that his side finish with a positive result in their last home game of the season.
The Minstermen host relegation-threatened Farsley Celtic at Kit Kat Crescent and feels that only the full three-points will be a satisfactory result.
City have managed a disappointing seven wins from 22 home games and have a better record away from home.
Walker started his tenure on a high after raking in 14 of a possible 18 points in first half-dozen matches at the helm, but things soured considerably after that as they struggled to replicate their away-form in front of the home crowd.
Walker told The Press: "We've got to go out with a bang and not a whimper. That will be the message to the players.
"I want the same attitude we had for the fantastic 115 supporters we had at Torquay on Saturday with a bit more from us in the final third.
"Our home form is still something we need to work on. We've got to be more positive and create more and hopefully that will happen tonight and next season."
Third-bottom Farsley need a point for safety, providing there are favourable results elsewhere, but they will know that a win will put them in the best possible position for survival before they host Grays this Saturday.
