AFC Wimbledon v Altrincham

AFC Wimbledon will be looking to keep their play-off aspirations alive when Graham Heathcote's Altrincham make the trip to Kingsmeadow on Saturday afternoon.

Dons boss Terry Brown will have to make do without the services of a number of first-team regulars for the weekend's clash.

Jack Turner and Peter Rapson have left the club on respective loan deals, while Brett Johnson, Kennedy Adjei, Alan Inns and Ross Montague will miss out.

Jay Conroy misses out through suspension, but striker Luke Moore has recovered from injury after making a return to action against Chipstead in the Surrey Senior Cup on Tuesday night.

Brown will hand late fitness tests to defenders Paul Lorraine (groin) and Ben Judge (ill), as well as striker Jon Main (shin).

Looking ahead to the clash, Brown told the club's official website: "Having played against Graham Heathcote's sides over the past ten years I can assure everyone coming to Saturday's game it will be a very difficult encounter.

"Graham sets his sides up in a very professional manner and I will be highly delighted to come away with three points at the end of the game."

Robins manager Graham Heathcote is boosted by the return of Peter Doran after the midfielder completed a suspension.

Defender James Smith is expected to be on the treatment table for up to three weeks after sustaining a hamstring strain.

However, Adam Carden returns to contention after being sidelined with a mystery injury.

Heathcote told the Sale & Altrincham Messenger: "James will be out for two or three weeks with a hamstring strain, which is a real blow, because he has been exceptional this season.

"It turns out Adam (Carden) had a food allergy which left him feeling weak. He is allergic to wheat but at least knows now what he can and can't eat. He is fit and available again."
