Stuart Beavon Weymouth 2-1 DroylsdenWeymouth collected all three points against rock-bottom Droylsden on Tuesday evening despite being reduced to ten men late in the game.
The Terras broke the deadlock after ten minutes when Stuart Beavon knocked a 12-yard effort into the bottom-left corner from the right-hand side of the penalty area.
Droylsden drew level when Jamie McGuire blasted his right-footed shot straight down the middle in the 33rd minute.
Weymouth battled to reclaim the lead and did so in the 77th minute when Anton Robinson headed in a James Coutts cross at the left-hand side of the six-yard box.
John Hollins' men found themselves reduced to ten men just two minutes later when Mark Convery received his marching orders for a professional foul on Droylsden's Chris Denham but they held firm to collect a morale-boosting three points.
