Chris Todd Histon 4-5 TorquayTorquay Utd did just enough to earn victory over fellow newcomers Histon on Tuesday in a game that produced nine goals and saw both teams reduced to 10 men.

The Gulls were in a comfortable position heading into the break as Chris Zebroski netted their third but Histon pulled one back just after half-time through Nathaniel Knight-Percival to make it 3-1.
Knight-Percival turned provider just minutes later as striker Cliff Akurang reduced the deficit to one goal with a well-placed header.
Torquay's Darren Mullings received his marching orders on 69 minutes for serious foul play but teammate Chris Zebroski restored their lead with a power penalty after Histon's Mat Mitchell-King fouled Elliot Benyon in the area.
Cliff Akurang went on to net two consecutive penalty kicks after Torquay's Chris Todd was twice penalised for handling the ball in the box.
Histon's Mat Mitchell-King was shown a red card for his second bookable offence and Chris Todd redeemed himself by scoring the winner at the death.
