Burton 2-0 Aldershot

Nigel Clough's Burton Albion maintained their impressive unbeaten record with a comfortable win over league leaders Aldershot Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Brewers got off to a great start when Keith Gilroy sent in an inviting cross from the left by-line and Aaron Webster converted with a well-placed header at the left-hand side of the six-yard box.

Gilroy also had a hand in creating the second goal and Mark Greaves was on hand in the 51st minute to head in at the right-hand side of six-yard box.

After this latest result, Aldershot are still top of the Blue Square Premier table but Torquay are hot on their heels with a game in hand.

Burton on the other hand, find themselves in third place with 33 points from 16 matches.
