Altrincham 1-2 Aldershot

Altrincham are still winless after a losing 2-1 to Aldershot in their Blue Square Premier league encounter on Saturday afternoon.

Jonny Dixon opened the scoring with 24 minutes played after some good work from Ben Harding, who crossed for Dixon to finish from the edge of the box.

Despite Darren Tinson grabbing a vital equaliser on the stroke of halftime, Aldershot came out the second half the more determined side with Louis Soares settling matters in the 78th minute.
