Grays Athletic 1-0 Altrincham

Grays Athletic piled more misery on Altrincham when they came away 1-0 winners at the New Recreation Ground on Saturday afternoon.

The home side had the better of play for much of the match as the visitors failed to match Grays' enthusiasm.

Despite the home side's dominance they could only manage to score the single goal, thanks to Aaron O'Connor.

That goal came in the 36th minute when O'Connor latched onto a Marlon Patterson cross from the left wing and powerfully found the back of the net from close range.

The match continued to follow the same trend in the second-half as the home side dominated proceedings.

But there was not to be any more serious goalmouth action as Grays cruised to the three-points.
