Altrincham 0-0 Farsley Celtic

Blue Square Premier strugglers Altrincham and Farsley Celtic played to a goalless draw in front of over 4000 supporters at Moss Lane on Tuesday evening.

Celtic created a few more chances than their opponents but lacked the killer touch needed to beat Altrincham goalkeeper Stuart Coburn.

Altrincham found themselves under severe pressure in the last ten minutes of the game but a battling performance saw them hold Farsley at bay.

Coburn pulled off a good save in the dying moments of the game to deny Farsley's Lee Tuck, who had drilled a powerful right-footed shot at goal.
