Altrincham 1-2 Histon

Altrincham suffered their eighth home defeat this season with Histon claiming all three points in a 2-1 victory at Moss Lane.

The Robins were undone by Cliff Akurang who opened the scoring and Danny Wright who made sure Chris Lanes's equaliser for the home side amounted to nothing.

It was Histon's sixth away win in the Blue Square Premier this term strengthening their push for a play-off place.

Cliff Akurang opened the scoring in the 33rd minute for the vistors, while Chris Lne equalised in the 60th minute.

The match seemed destined for a draw until Daniel Wright produced the winner for Histon in the 74th minute.

Gary Scott, John Kennedy and Nathaniel Knight-Percival all received a yellow card from referee J Collin.
