Weymouth 0-6 Forest Green

Forest Green Rovers maintained their push for a promotion play-off spot with a crushing victory over Weymouth on Tuesday evening.

The Terras were outclassed from start to finish as they were unable to contain a lethal attack containing the likes of Stuart Fleetwood and Adriano Rigoglioso.

The visitors broke the deadlock after just four minutes when Fleetwood drilled the ball in from the right-hand side of the penalty area.

Darren Jones doubled their advantage in the 35th minute and Fleetwood popped up again just before the half-time whistle to make it 3-0.

The second half also produced three goals but it was Rigoglioso who took home the match ball with a superb hat-trick.

Rigoglioso netted his first in the 52nd minute and doubled his tally in the 78th after latching onto an Ishmael Welsh from the left wing.

The travelling fans were sent into wild celebrations just a minute later when Rigoglioso rounded off a magnificent performance by scoring a screamer from 30 yards out.
