Rovers boss Jim Harvey Forest Green 4-2 StevenageForest Green Rovers twice came from behind to defeat high-flying Stevenage Borough at the New Lawn on Tuesday night.
The visitors went ahead on 17 minutes when Daryl McMahon curled a 25-yard effort into the top corner, before Mark Beesley converted Stuart Fleetwood's pass four minutes later.
Boro reclaimed their advantage two minutes after the break as Santos Gaia headed in Adam Miller's free-kick.
But home striker Fleetwood volleyed an equaliser inside two minutes, and then scored his second with a low finish on 63 minutes.
Beesley wrapped up the contest when scoring his second eight minutes later.
