Nick Holmes Forest Green 0-3 SalisburyNick Holmes' Salisbury City returned to winning ways with a comfortable win over Forest Green Rovers in Thursday evening's televised Blue Square Premier match at the New Lawn.
The visitors got off to a flying start when Marvin Brown latched onto a flicked header from Luke Oliver and placed his shot in the bottom-left corner.
The home side were unlucky to concede in the 38th minute as Chris Giles mistakenly put the ball in his own net from six yards out, giving Salisbury a two-goal lead.
The final goal came just before the final whistle when Robbie Matthews slotted home a Jonathan Bass cross at the centre of the penalty area.
