The New Lawn Forest Green 2-2 TorquayForest Green had to settle for a draw with Torquay on Bank Holiday Monday after the two sides played out an entertaining scoring draw at The New Lawn.
The visitors had the early advantage after Chris Hargreaves found the back of the net with a low drive after 10 minutes but Mark Beesley equalised with a 20-yard strike in the 20th minute.
Then, just two minutes later, Beesley put the home side ahead when he turned in a cross from Paul Stonehouse. Rovers seemed to have the advantage.
But their two-goal hero was forced off through injury early in the second half and Torquay soon equalised when Chris Robertson bundled the ball home.
