Matthew Gill Exeter 1-0 KidderminsterExeter City continued their chase for the play-offs when they beat Kidderminster Harriers 1-0 at St James Park on Saturday afternoon.
The first-half was an evenly contested affair, with both sides seemingly content with waiting for the opposition to make the first move.
The second-half started in a similar way to that of the first, but as it progressed, the home side showed why they are currently so high up on the league table, with desire and intent the name of the game.
And that desire paid off when Matthew Gill found the net.
Dean Moxey created an opening for the home side before setting up Gill with a fine pass, and the midfielder obliged by slotting the ball home in confident style.
From that point on the home side cruised to victory, with very little threat coming from the opposition.
