Wessex Stadium Weymouth 2-1 KidderminsterWeymouth strengthened their survival hopes after beating Kidderminster Harriers 2-1 at the Wessex Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The first-half was a rather dire affair, with both side's seemingly content with hitting the opposition on the break.
The second half, however, was a different affair altogether.
The visitors took the lead on 61 minutes when Simon Russell found the back of the net with a well placed drive from the edge of the penalty area.
Their lead did not last for very long as the home side hit back two minutes later.
Chris Blackburn was the man who equalised for the Terras when he met a Simon Weatherstone pass with a stunning header which ended up in the back of the net.
The goal boosted the players and fans alike, with the home side looking the most likely to grab the three points.
And they did just that with two minutes left on the clock when Stuart Douglas reacted quickest to prod home from close range.
Weymouth bookings: Douglas 83
Kidderminster bookings: Jeannin 70, Christie 84, Creighton 90
