Plainmoor Torquay 1-0 KidderminsterA single goal was enough for Torquay United to see off the challenge of a spirited Kidderminster Harriers side at Plainmoor on Saturday afternoon.
The match was an evenly contested affair in the opening 30 minutes, with both side's matching each others attacks with attacks of their own.
The home side, however, did what the visitors could not by taking the lead on the stroke of half-time.
Mark Ellis was the hero when he latched onto a Roscoe D'Sane cross to find the back of the net from close range.
The second-half took a similar trend to that of the first, but the home side took control of the game towards the end as they ran out slender winners.
