Mark Yates Rushden 0-1 KidderminsterKidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates will be pleased with his side's Bank Holiday Monday showing as they recorded their second victory of the season.
The Harriers boss has been under increasing pressure of late with his side making an inconsistent start to the Blue Square Premier campaign.
The solitary goal came after 60 minutes when Russell Penn headed in a James Constable cross at the right-hand side of six-yard box.
This latest result sees Kidderminster move up to 14th place on the table with six points while Garry Hill's Rushden slip down to 17th with four points.
