Kedwell: Hat-trick hero Grays Athletic 5-1 KidderminsterGrays Athletic got their first league win of the season in sensational fashion through a Danny Kedwell first-half hat-trick at Bridge Road on Saturday afternoon.
Kedwell got off the mark with just nine minutes on the clock via a close range effort before grabbing his second through a 22nd minute penalty after Ben Watson was fouled in the box.
Watson was on the score sheet himself on 23 minutes but it took the in-form striker just a further 10 minutes to put the game beyond doubt and claim the match ball with an effort worthy of the accolade.
Kidderminster managed a small revival to claw themselves back into the game with a Iyseden Christie penalty but all hope was crushed when Aaron O'Connor slotted the fifth goal past a despairing Scott Bevan in the Harriers' goal.
