Crawley Town 5-3 WokingThe Red Devils recorded a morale-boosting win at Broadfield Stadium on Tuesday after a thrilling match against Woking which offered up a feast of footballing action.
The visitors got off to the worst possible start when Paul Lorraine received his marching orders for a deliberate handball.
Guy Madjo netted the resulting penalty kick to break the deadlock but Woking were awarded a penalty of their own just seven minutes later and Joe Gatting made no mistake with the spot kick that followed.
However, the home side started to pick out holes in Woking's defence and reclaimed the lead on 32 minutes as on-Paul Pittman headed in a James Krause cross at the right-hand side of the penalty area.
Pittman was on target again just before the break while Thomas Pinault added their fourth on the hour mark with a superb volleyed effort from 18 yards out..
Tom Hutchinson pulled one back in the 71st minute to make it 4-2 and Guy Madjo completed his brace for Crawley on 83 minutes to round off a superb night of football for the Red Devils.
