Stafford Rangers 0-1 WokingStafford Rangers' disappointing start to the season continued as they suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Frank Gray's Woking on Saturday afternoon.
Rangers are still looking for their first points of the campaign and they were just unable to break down a tough Stevenage side at Marston Road.
The solitary goal came after 54 minutes when Woking's Nick Gindre played a long ball from within his own half and Marvin Morgan converted from 12 yards out.
With tempers flaring and the final whistle looming, Woking found themselves reduced to 10 men after Matt Pattison received his second yellow card.
However, the visitors managed to hold on to their slender lead to earn their first win of the season.
