York 0-0 Burton AlbionBurton Albion's promotion hopes took a slight denting on Tuesday evening after being held to a goalless draw at York's Kit-Kat Crescent.
The Brewers were in control for large periods of the match but were unable to make their superiority count in front of goal.
They managed to create 20 shots on goal, whereas their opponents could only muster one five attempts on goal.
Nigel Clough's side are still on the edge of the play-off places but a win on Tuesday evening would have seen them close the gap on fifth place to just one point.
Meanwhile, York have seen their outside chance of mounting a play-off charge become less likely after this latest result and the Minstermen sit in 11th place with 46 points.
