Jack Midson Histon 3-1 YorkHiston continued their pursuit of a play-off spot with an impressive victory over York City at the Glassworld Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Jack Midson, making his home debut, got the ball rolling for the home side when he found the back of the net with a well-placed header after just three-minutes.
Nathaniel Knight-Percival doubled the host's advantage after 14 minutes with a drilled effort into the top of the net.
Nicky Wroe pulled one back from the penalty spot on 19 minutes after John Kennedy was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty area.
But Midson was on hand to complete his brace and hand the home side the points when he netted shortly after half-time.
