Ebbsfleet United 1-2 York City

Martyn Woolford scored what turned out to be the winning goal in an exciting fixture between Ebbsfleet United and York City on Saturday afternoon.

Onome Sodje opened the Minstermen's account on the day in the 26th minute with a superb header from a Woolford corner.

The match lost its early tempo towards the end of the first-half, with half-chances the best either side could produce.

Woolford got the second-half off to a flying start when he found the back of the net with a left-footed drive from 12 yards out in the 50th minute.

Chris McPhee set up an exciting last ten-minutes when he found the net on 79 minutes, but the home side could not mount a serious attack towards the end and the visitors hung on to secure the points.
