Sodje: Netted the equaliser York 1-1 Crawley TownYork City came back from a goal down to earn a share of the spoils with Steve Evans' Crawley Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils had the better of the chances in the first half but it ended goalless as Magno Vieira and Jon-Paul Pittman both failed to hit the target from 12 yards.
They finally got the breakthrough they were looking for on the hour mark when Pittman collected a Kieran Murphy pass on the right-hand channel and lobbed the keeper with a sublime bit of skill.
However, the home side rallied and drew level in the 79th minute thanks to a 12-yard effort from striker Onome Sodje.
York bookings: Brayson 39, Panther 87
