Paul Tisdale Tisdale confident ahead of Gulls testExeter manager Paul Tisdale believes his team have enough confidence to take them through to the Blue Square Premier play-off semi-finals.
The Grecians secured a point in the thrilling 4-4 draw with Burton Albion on Saturday, which was enough to earn them a top-five finish.
And after second-place Torquay succumbed 2-1 to Crawley Town and Cambridge United overcame 2-0 at Northwich Victoria, Tisdale's men were drawn against their Devon rivals in the semi-finals.
But even though the Gulls have been in fine fettle this season and were once at the Premier summit, Tisdale maintains his charges are ready for the challenge.
He told This Is Exeter: "I always had a gut feeling that we would end up in the play-offs and I am pretty confident we have got enough about us.
"I didn't mind which tie we were given and as far as I am concerned we fear nobody.
"We have got Torquay and I think we are strong at the moment - we have shown that in our last six games.
"We are ready, so bring it on. We have got every reason to be hopeful and we are playing well at the moment.
"The players are fit and strong, they are hungry and we are at it. This is going to be a cracker of a tie and I am looking forward to it." Posted: Wednesday, April 30, 2008 more Top Stories
