Abbey Stadium Cambridge United Season Ticket OfferCambridge United expect to increase their season ticket and admission prices next season for the first time in four years, due to the rising costs of staging matches.
However, the Board of Directors are very aware of the loyalty shown by our fan base during the past few difficult seasons, and with that in mind would like to offer supporters who purchase their season ticket between now and Friday 25th April 2008 the opportunity to do so at this year's price.
Fans Elected Director Brian Attmore commented, "Season ticket holders have been described as the bedrock of a football club and the Board of Directors recognise that here at Cambridge United. It has been tremendous to see the loyalty of our fans, particularly over the past few seasons. At the same time it is with great pleasure that we have been welcoming increasing numbers of 'new' supporters to the Abbey Stadium.
"The Club's intention is to offer season tickets at a price that represents value for money and for supporters to benefit from their financial commitment to Cambridge United. Whilst it is regrettable that match day prices will have to rise to help offset some of our increasing costs, we will endeavour as we always have to remain competitive.
"This invitation to buy a season ticket for next season at last year's 'early purchase' prices for a limited period is a great way for Cambridge United supporters to beat any increase and help the Club. I would encourage everyone to purchase their tickets now."
Application forms will be available from the ticket office and turnstiles from Saturday 22nd March, and every 100th applicant will win a new 'pay as you go' mobile phone.
Prices for season tickets purchased before Friday 25th April 2008 are:
Main Stand Adults £265 Concessions £170 Under 16s £50 Under 10s £25
Family Enclosure Adults £250 Concessions £155 Under 16s £50 Under 10s £25
Terrace Adults £210 Concessions £135 Under 16s £50 Under 10s £25
Next season's prices will be announced at the end of the season when we know which League we will be playing in for the 2008/09 season.
