Rushden 0-1 Ebbsfleet UtdLiam Daish's Ebbsfleet United returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon with a narrow victory over Rushden and Diamonds at Nene Park.
The home side will undoubtedly be very unhappy with the result as they had their fair share of the ball possession and created more chances than their opponents.
In the end however, it was Ebbsfleet who took their chances as George Purcell latched on to a Mark DeBolla cross and sent his left-footed effort past Rushden keeper Paul Bastock.
After this latest result, Ebbsfleet have notched up two wins lifting them into seventh place on the table, while Rushden slip down to 12th place with four points.
