Ebbsfleet 2-1 NorthwichEbbsfleet United managed to edge out their opponents and earn all three points, in what turned out to be a heated affair at Stonebridge Road.
The home side got off to a flying start as Luke Moore opened the scoring after just three minutes with a well-placed shot into the bottom-left corner.
Northwich looked a bit sharper after the half-time break and pulled level in the 50th minute thanks to Simon Rusk.
However, it was Chukki Eribenne who had the last say, as he latched onto a Luke Moore assist and coolly placed his shot in the bottom-right corner.
Football fans will of course be disappointed with the resulting fracas that ensued, which saw Northwich's Kevin Townson and Ebbsfleet's James Smith shown their marching orders for violent conduct.
