Boro boss Peter Taylor Stevenage 1-3 TorquayTorquay United further strengthened their play-off berth at Broadhall Way on Saturday with a comfortable win over fellow promotion hopefuls Stevenage Borough.
The first half ended goalless with neither of the sides able to create an incisive finish, but came to life shortly after the break.
The home side were awarded a penalty in the 51st minute when Torquay's Chris Todd was adjudged to have fouled Calum Willock in the box.
Gavin Grant calmly slotted the resulting spot kick into the top-left corner to give his side an important lead.
However, this was just the wake-up call that the Gulls needed as they stormed back to win the match in a convincing manner.
Torquay's Chris Hargreaves netted a 64th minute equaliser with a drilled shot from 12 yards out and Chris Zebroski doubled their tally with a header into the top-left corner.
The match was firmly put beyond the reach of Peter Taylor's men in the 83rd minute when Tommy Smith fouled Zebroski in the area and Tim Sills slotted home the resulting penalty.
