Torquay United moved a step closer to ensuring a play-off place after easing past rock- bottom Droyslden at the Butchers Arms.

Tim Sills added to the hosts' woes a mere minute after kick-off with the first shot of the game.

Roscoe D'Sane doubled the Gulls' lead with a header on the 28-minute mark and the Bloods never looked comfortable chasing the game.

After the break the home side were a more determined outfit and were rewarded in the 70th minute with a successful Levi Mackin strike.

The relegation battlers fought hard in the dying minutes, but the in-form visitors held on for the three points.
